Switch’s LED Bulb to Light Up CES

Switch Lighting presented its Switch LED
light bulb at the CES Innovations Stage Presentation on Tuesday, January 10 at
11am in the Venetian Ballroom A-D, Innovations Showcase Stage.

The prestigious
Innovations Design and Engineering Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Electronics
Association (CEA)®, the producer of the International CES, the world’s largest
consumer technology tradeshow. Switch was named a CES Innovations Design and Engineering
Award Honoree in November, 2011. The Switch75 LED bulb will be displayed in the
Innovations Winner’s Showcase at the 2012 International CES, which runs January
10-13, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Switch claims to be the first manufacturer
to announce a family of LED bulbs with 40, 60, 75 and 100 watt-equivalents. Switch
bulbs can be turned on instantly and can be used in any orientation like the conventional
incandescent light bulb. Switch notes that the company’s bulbs were also recently
featured as one of TIME’s 50 Best Inventions of 2011, as well as on the cover
of WIRED Magazine’s September issue.

"We are really excited to present
our bulb as a CES Honoree," said Tracy Bilbrough, CEO of Switch Lighting.
"We believe we have an LED bulb that is going to change the world, and CES
is the perfect forum to show off its brilliant design and liquid cooling technology."
