Solid State Lighting Design's
2012 SSL Summit LA
Long Beach, CA      April 3-4, 2012

If it's not better lighting, we're missing the point...

LED technology enables better lighting, but are we there yet? What is really meant by better lighting, and how do manufacturers and decision-makers come together to achieve it? In the 100+ year history of the electric light, never have we seen such an extreme pace of technological advancement.
So what's working now, and where will it all take us in the next 2-10 years?
The Summit is here to provide the answers.

To succeed in an industry this dynamic, you don't just need to be ahead of the curve,
you need to join the leaders who shape it!

As always, presenters, sponsors and exhibitors are vetted by the SSL Design advisory board
to help you separate the wheat from chaff... and to track the future.

What noted lighting designers have to say about the SSL Summit:

“I enjoyed meeting the very passionate manufacturers and reviewing the cutting edge products. It gave me a glimpse into the future."
   - Leni Schwendinger, Leni Schwendinger Light Projects Ltd.

"The networking opportunities were extremely valuable. It was an eye-opening experience for me to have the opportunity to speak with not just other designers or luminaire manufacturers, but with building owners and operators, as well as the engineers actively involved in creating the LED products we are all learning to use."
    - Shoshanna Segal, IALD, LEED AP

"The SSL summit provided an opportunity to have a dialog with a number of knowledgeable LED lighting manufacturers in the same language , not talk past each other. Both parties benefited greatly."
    - Willard L. (Bill) Warren PE, FIES, LD&A's "Energy Advisor"

The SSL Summit will consist of two full days, including networking breaks and lunches and a "hands-on" evening Summit Showcase, with the afternoon of Day 1 focusing on the answers forward-thinking lighting, sustainability and facilities decision makers are looking for. At the evening showcase, attendees and visitors can see first hand some of the current technologies, luminaires and application solutions that will have been discussed during the day. Day 2 will continue with topics primarily of interest to luminaire/lighting manufacturers and enabling technology providers.
