Old Iron Bridge to Get Makeover

The famous Iron
Bridge
in Shropshire, England completed in 1779, will now have the latest
LED technology, according to article in the Shropshire
Star
. What makes the bridge unique is that it was the first bridge in the
world to be built entirely out of cast iron. Today, the Iron Bridge is considered
a British national monument. According to the article, the bridge will have 72 LED
fixtures sunk into the ground or in blocks on each side of the Severn River
with each aimed upward directly towards the bridge.
