Luminis of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, announced the release of its next generation of Aramis pendants. The second generation Aramis, the Aramis G2 LED offers higher output and improved efficiency. The new design also features a modern sleek housing. The Aramis G2 range utilizes a passive convection design, which the company says extends lifetime, optimizes efficiency, and helps the luminaires achieve 50% greater output than their predecessors.
The Aramis G2 line consists of six models with various lengths, light outputs, with a variety of diffusers or reflectors. According to Liminis, all Aramis G2 products can be pendant or surface mounted, and the AR168, one of the models, can also be wall mounted.
Aramis G2 offers Efficacy of over 107 LPW
Most of the new range delivers between 2,000 to 6,500 lumens, depending upon chosen options. However, the AR170, a powerful product with just a 6-inch diameter cylinder, provides over 18,000 lumens. The design features an extruded aluminum heat sink and separate driver chamber for optimal heat management and luminaire efficacy.
The luminaire offers efficacy of over 107 Lumens Per Watt (LPW) and all models boast an L70B50 of 125,000 hours. Aesthetically, the Aramis G2 range now features a smooth, sleek, housing, without the fine linear stria pattern of the previous generation. Liminis contends that this contemporary appearance can blend with any indoor design approach.
With 4000K color temperature standard models from 2700K to 5000K are available across the range. The Aramis G2 range also comes in a range of standard color finishes, with custom finishes available upon request. The 4000K version features an 80 CRI, and other CRI models are also available. An optional DMX/RDM dimming control enables dimming down to dark (0%).
