The Museum of Contemporary Art & Planning Exhibition, which is part of the master plan for Shenzhen’s new urban center, the Futian Cultural District, serves as a new attraction in Shenzhen’s fast growing urban area. Luckily, Euchips, an intelligent lighting service provider, attended the lighting project. The project synergetically combines the two institutions, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Planning Exhibition.
Each of the project’s various programmatic elements is implemented according to its functional and performance requirements, and the project merges the program elements into a unified body in the form of a multifunctional façade.
Euchips Lighting Controls Meet Requirements
The lighting designers wanted to use both natural and artificial lighting. Also, the lighting scheme and its technology had to fit with the building’s architecture, including the structure and materials, etc.
Many different competitors submitted project proposals for dimming the lighting. Euchips won the competition. As the winner of the lighting control competition, the company supplied 5,000pcs DMX master controllers, DALI-based LED dimmable drivers and constant voltage Triac drivers for the Museum of Contemporary Art & Planning Exhibition.
