EarthTronics of Muskegon, Michigan has launched the HBU Series LED High Bay in 4000K and 5000K, offering a true “one-for-one” LED alternative for commercial or industrial spaces needing a high lumen light source for high ceilings. The HBU Series delivers a higher lumen per watt output with Seoul Semiconductor chips. The luminaire also uses Mean Well drivers and comes with DLC Premium certification that meets even higher efficacy and lumen maintenance requirements than the company’s previous high bay models.
The lightweight design can use a standard mounting hook with a safety screw for quick installation and retrofitting of interiors. The company makes the fixture housing from 96% pure aluminum in a unique design and size that maximizes cooling for a long life product with high lumen maintenance.
Series of High Bays DLC Listed and IP65 Wet Location Rated
The HBU Series LED High Bay offers an IP65 wet location use rating for exposed environments. The Series comes complete with a 6’ cord for easy installation. All models of the series offer 0-10V dimming and the drivers operate at 100 -277V. A 347-480V full functioning driver is also available.
The DLC-listed HBU series boasts a 50,000-hour projected life. With their DLC listing, the company says the luminaires may be accepted for utility rebates in many markets. Earthtronics says that the fixtures are compatible with existing control systems. Also, the EarthTronics HBU Series fixtures work for a variety of conditions and applications, such as warehouses, factories, hangars and gyms.
Optional add-ons expand the HBU Series range of capabilities. The optional add-ons include a 70° aluminum reflector and a 90° acrylic prismatic reflector.
