Arizona’s Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant Upgrades Lighting System with LED Fixtures from Albeo Technologies

Albeo’s 130 energy-efficient LED fixtures are set to save the plant in energy and maintenance costs



Boulder, CO  June 11, 2012 -- A LED lighting retrofit of sections of the Arizona Palo Verde nuclear generating station has recently been completed using LED fixtures from Albeo Technologies.  The award-winning LED lighting manufacturer specializes in industrial and commercial applications, and recently supplied the Arizona Public Service Palo Verde plant with over 130 energy-saving light fixtures. 



The nation’s largest nuclear plant and power producer of any kind, installed three types of Albeo fixtures to match the needs of the plant, including the NGL 2012 “Best-in-class” award-winning H-Series High Bay, S-Series sealed fixture and C3-Series linear fixture.  The reduction in energy consumption of this new LED lighting system is expected to off set fixture and installation costs within approximately 2 years.
