Northeastern Utilities Offer Rebates for Installation of Lighting Science Group's LED Light Engines and Fixtures

August 3, 2010... Utilities under the Mass Save Program are now offering utility customers of the Northeast United States rebates for the installation of Lighting Science Group's new Definity line of LED bulbs (light engines), Prolific Series streetlights, and shoebox fixtures.  Lighting Science Group says its fixtures were chosen as a result of their rigorous LM-79 performance testing, Lighting Science boasts that its LED lamps and fixtures have outstanding light quality, no mercury, and very long life-spans.

Northeastern utilities are providing the incentives for retrofit, new construction, and custom applications through Cape Light Compact, National Grid, NSTAR, Unitil, and Western Massachusetts Electric Company. Combined these cover all of Massachusetts and parts of New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island.
