Waukegan, Illinois USA--American Fluorescent has introduced a line of fully dimmable LED lights with a compact, low-profile design that is ideal for under cabinet installations in kitchens, study areas and displays. The new LUL Series provides 90% energy savings compared to line voltage xenon task light fixtures. Units have full dimming capability (using a low-voltage electronic dimmer) and an integrated hi/low switch for conventional dual light output levels.

Designers frequently suggest under cabinet lighting as a cost-effective way to transform a room. American Fluorescent’s LUL Series makes the process easy, with the finishes (oil-rubbed bronze, white gloss enamel) and lengths (9”, 12”, 18”, 24”) to fit today’s most popular cabinet colors and sizes. All are wired for 120V operation, and feature LED lights that are rated for 50,000 hours.

Units have tempered frosted glass diffusers to evenly distribute light while minimizing shadows, and a 3,000K color temperature to provide the warm light effect recommended for most indoor general and task lighting applications.

Installation is easy with a separate service tray that snaps into position without hardware. Units can be linked together to fit a wide variety of lighting needs: up to 50 of the three shorter models, or up to 15 of the longest model. A 12-foot connecting cable and 5-foot cord is included with each unit.

Energy Star-qualified models also are available with full dimming capabilities.
