Schreder Launches LED-based Outdoor Light Powered By Osram LEDs

July 23, 2010... Schreder of Elk Grove Village, Illinois unveiled the Alura LED, an outdoor light powered by Osram's Golden Dragon Plus LEDs. The light uses 40, 1-watt LEDs arranged in a circle. The light eminates from a conically shaped fixture through optics which spread the light 360 degrees (Type 5 distribution). The Alura comes in a color temperatures of 6000K, neutral white, and warm white options. The company says that the optical compartment is designed with an IP66 tightness level. The fixture has a circular top held up by four metal prongs. The light is made for outdoor urban environments such as: parks, playgrounds, and parking lots.
