Hella Introduces New Line of LED-based Streetlights

July 21, 2010... Hella, an automotive lighting and electronics supplier of Plymouth, Michigan USA, has introduced a line of LED-based street and area-lighting products. Hella's new LED-based lights are reportedly designed to replace conventional lighting on streets, parking lots and commercial property throughout North America.

The company says that its unique LED-based retrofit module has emerged from more than 20 years of LED development and manufacturing experience. In addition to the retrofit module, the company has developed high-power LED modules for new installations. The 48-LED light module consumes 75 Watts and produces nearly 5900 Lumens. Hella says it will assemble the new LED products at its plant in Flora
