Lamina Opens New York Product Showroom and Design Center

June 5, 2008... Lamina Lighting has opened the Lamina Design Center, a product showroom and design studio at 336 West 37th Street in Manhattan. The Center is located in the Arts Building (www.theartsbuilding.com). The building is also home to lighting designers, artists and other businesses in the creative field.

The company said it plans to soon hold a series of networking events and hands-on workshops at The Center. Dan Polito, Vice President of Marketing for Lamina explained that the workshop curriculum will focus primarily on optical, thermal and electronic issues associated with advancing solid state lighting technology and luminaire design. Future networking events will be held in The Center’s fifth floor studio and rooftop garden.
