Advance Expands Xitantium LED Driver Line

Advance of Rosemont, Illinois USA, has introduced new 350mA and 700mA models
designed to power a variety of low power LED lighting applications. According
to the company, the drivers support 1-3 Luxeon I models, 1-2 Luxeon III models,
or 1 Luxeon V model. The company says the new drivers are designed for orientation/step,
spot, task, decorative, gaming, and appliance lighting, and other lower brightness
lighting applications. The drivers boast a 50 percent shorter length than the
company’s previous drivers, and they feature the short-circuit protection
for added safety and ease of maintenance that comes with the UL Class 2 rating.
The drivers have reliable, long lasting, and tightly regulated output (1 percent
line and 5 percent load). They support a full range of global voltages
including: 120V-240V, 50/60 Hz. The company points out that the drivers allow
extremely low temperature operation down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit (-54 Degrees
